Zulily: Smart Balance kid’s bikes $62 shipped

by Melody on June 13, 2011

Zulily has a FANTASTIC deal on Smart Balance kid’s balance bikes: After shipping and promo code, pay right around $57.  These retail for $90 before shipping!  We bought our son’s Strider balance bike for $75 last Christmas and felt like we got a smoking deal, so I would snatch this up if you have been looking for one.

If you have not seen these before, they are wonderful.  They don’t have pedals, so kids push with their feet and learn to balance by themselves very early.  Our son will be three in August and has been riding his for several months and he seriously cruises.  I honestly feel like he will transition to a two-wheeler with no problems as he has already learned to be in charge of his own balance.

Everywhere we go, people stop us and ask about the bike.  It has been so perfect, our son can’t reach the pedals on most of the tricycles we have tried out, but with the balance bike it’s not an issue.

  • If you are new to Zulily, sign up here
  • If you already have a Zulily account, sign in here
  • Click on the Smart Balance event
  • Choose your style or color and add to your cart
  • You will pay $6.95 shipping + a $5 surcharge

Your total including shipping should be right around $62.  I imagine these will go really fast at this price, so I would not wait if you are interested.

The code doesn’t seem to work…

Try code GA2793

Oh my gosh Holly, I just realized that the code only works for orders of $50 or more! I’m so sorry! I do still think it’s a very good deal, even without the extra $5 off.

Absolutely, still a great deal! We’ve been looking for something like this for our son. Thanks for the heads up 🙂

Awesome! I’ve always wanted one of these for my girls to learn on, and just ordered it! I’m sure I could’ve found one used if I hunted around, but this was quick & easy and I’m sure I can re-sell it for a good price when we’re done with it. Zulily did charge me Washington state sales tax, so my total was $67 OOP. Thanks for posting, Meoldy!

We have been SO happy with ours, worth every penny. Ours is a different brand, but the concept is the same. Our son just loves his, hope you have fun with it!
