Vote for me in the Ross Dress for Less Treasure Hunt: Challenge Number 3

by Melody on January 2, 2012

Armed with $75 and my shopping shoes on, I headed out to Ross Dress for Less to begin Challenge Number 3: Holiday Chic.  The challenge was to pick out a new holiday outfit for myself or my kids and maybe pick up a few additional “party” items along the way.  I drug my friend Sarah along with me to help me figure out what was a good look for me.   Plus, it’s just more fun to shop with a friend.

I found some amazing bargains!  I picked up an entire outfit for myself for just $56, including shoes, jeans, shirt, sweater, earrings and a bracelet.  Each piece can be worn independently from the outfit, so I really feel like I upgraded my wardrobe in a major way without breaking the bank.

I also picked up a fun hostess gift, a reusable coffee mug and a box of tea for just $6.  Ross has a fantastic home decor/kitchen area.  It’s not always consistent what you will find, but if you have a few minutes to dig around, you’ll find some great bargains to dress up your home.  I picked up 2 adorable puzzles for my kids to take to Grandma’s for New Year’s Eve.  Ross also has a great selection of toys and books to choose from.

My video entry for the competition is posted over at the Ross Facebook page, head on over and check it out.  If you like the video (or just like me a little), please like, share and comment on the post.  If I win the entire competition, I will win a trip to Nashville in February to attend the Blissdom Blogging Conference!

If you have an extra second, I could use some help in the first and second contests as well:

Thank you so much for all of your support!

I love, Love, Love Ross Dress for Less. You can find so many great bargains there. Sometimes you find things you never even knew you needed until you found it at Ross.

I love that I can go in there and find and outfit for under $30. It also usually has a ton of great name brands for so much less than you’d find it for at the mall.

If you haven’t been to a Ross Dress for Less store, you are missing out. I know they are not everywhere but if you ever make it to Orlando they are all over the place. Happy shopping!
