Tri-Cities: Senske holiday light show

by Melody on December 13, 2010

If you live in the Tri-Cities and have not seen the annual Senske light show, you are definitely missing out.  The building and surrounding area is lit by over 120,000 lights, with a light show set to the beat of Christmas music.

All you have to do is drive over to Senske, park somewhere nearby and tune your radio to 100.1 FM.  Prepare to be amazed!  They have five or six Christmas songs that play on a loop and the light show is completely choreographed to the different songs.  We took our one-year old last year and he was enthralled, I can’t wait to take him this year!

Time: Runs 5 PM to midnight every night and is totally free

Location: 400 N. Quay Street in Kennewick

Directions: Head up from the mall on Columbia Center Blvd.  Take a left on Deschutes and it will wind around until you find Senske on the corner of Deschutes and N. Quay.

There are several on my side of Kennewick, near the hospital. One is on 19th close to Washington. The other is on 20th between Washington and Garfield. Both have their lights set to music. We went and watched both for a while last night. The kids loved it.
