Tanga: Starbucks French Roast as low as $6.27/pound (cheaper than Costco!)

by Melody on June 28, 2012

Tanga has a fantastic (and random) deal on Starbucks French Roast Coffee: Snag 5 lbs of whole bean French Roast for just $28.88 + $4.99 shipping.

This works out to just $6.77 per pound or around $5.08 per 12-ounce package, which is what the grocery store usually sells.  At our local Costco, they sell French Roast at $8.80/pound shelf price, this Tanga deal even beats the coupon mailer price per pound by a few cents!

If you decide to buy 2 and stock up, you can use promo code 5OFF50NOW to save an additional $5.  Shipping is $4.99 per item, so you would end up paying $6.27 per pound.

Tip of the day: Did you know you can take these large bags of whole bean coffee into Starbucks and they will grind them for you?  I have also used the grinders at my local grocery store (after asking of course).

When I tried to use the 50OFF50NOW code, Tanga kicked it out and said it was an “invalid code for my order.” (I double-checked and I did include 2 bags in my cart which brought the total to over $50 before shipping.)

Laura: I think it should be 5OFF50NOW. Looks like an extra 0 is in the beginning if you put it in as you typed before. Hope it works for you!

I’m hoping that’s what it was too, it worked fine for me this morning!
