Today on Living Social, you can snag an AMAZING deal on entry to the Seattle Tough Mudder obstacle course in October.  For just $99, you will receive entry to the race on Sunday, October 6th.  Through July 18th, use promo code JULY20 to drop your price to just $79.20.  If you went through the Tough Mudder website right now, you would pay $150!  This is a fantastic savings.

Both my husband and I are running the Saturday race in Black Diamond with a team from our gym and paid $125 PER PERSON to register.  Snag this now if you are at all interested.  I’m so excited (and terrified) for the race.

jkjl

“Described as Ironman meets Burning Man, Tough Mudder is unlike any other challenge you’ve encountered; this ten- to 12-mile obstacle course is designed to measure strength, endurance, and mental toughness. And with this offer, you’ll snag access to Tough Mudder Seattle on Sunday, October 6 at Palmer Coking Coal Company in Black Diamond, WA.”

Sign up or sign in to Living Social to buy your voucher.  Your voucher will get you entry to the race, Tough Mudder t-shirt and headband and entry to the post-race party.

Entrants must be 18 years old or older and this voucher is good for the Black Diamond event only.  All processing fees are included and you must register before September 27th.

You can also purchase multiple vouchers to form a team.  What’s fantastic about Living Social is that you can have three friends buy off your link after you purchase and your voucher will be free!  If you want to form a team, have three other people buy and split the cost after you factor in the free voucher.   This would make it just $59 per person!

There are several other Tough Mudder events in other cities offering discounts as well.  Choose from Dallas, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Charlotte, New England or Pittsburgh.

Here’s how to take advantage of this deal:

  •  Sign up or sign in here

Full Circle Deal

Today on Living Social, they have a great deal on fresh organic produce from Full Circle Farms.  I love Full Circle, we get a box delivered about two times a week and the quality is unbeatable.  They do a great job of seeking out local produce as well.  The best part is that the boxes are totally customizable each week and you can add/subtract whatever you like or need!

Delivery is available through Puget Sound, click here for all the available locations.

They have several choices of boxes available:

• $22 ($45 value) for a Large Harvest Farm box of organic produce
• $17 ($35 value) for a Medium Garden Farm box of organic produce
• $14 ($28 value) for a Small Sprout Farm box of organic produce
• $11 ($23 value) for a Mini Seed Farm box of organic produce

I chose the Medium Garden Farm box.  This size is great for our family of five and lasts us almost two weeks when supplementing with other produce we grow, find for a good price at the store or get at the farmer’s market.

To order sign up or sign in to Living Social and choose which box you would like, then purchase.

The fine print:

* Limit 1 per membership, 1 additional as a gift for a different address
* Valid only for new or returning (more than 60 days inactive) customers
* Online registration and valid credit card required
*Tax is included
* May be redeemed for delivery or pick-up in designated areas; visit www.fullcircle.com/organic-produce-groceries/delivery-areas for more information
* Prices based on Puget Sound delivery, prices may vary outside of Puget Sound
* Subscription will continue beyond promotion unless manually cancelled; be sure to contact a full circle representative
* Valid only for first delivery, any additional groceries added to your first order are not included in the discount
* Unused credits are non-refundable
* All services must be redeemed during a single visit by same household

Today on Living Social you can order 40 Shutterfly cards for $40. This is not the cheapest way to get your Christmas cards, but it is close.  So, why am I posting it? This is the voucher I’m buying to get my cards.  Sometimes the cheapest deal isn’t the best deal in my book.  So let me tell you why I’m snagging this one:

  • They have  my favorite cards.  I love them and you can’t beat $1 per card for the quality and choice of designs. The other higher-quality companies can’t beat $1 per card. Even with 30% off (currently the sale price at Shutterfly), I can’t get cards for less than $1.39 in the amount I need (50-74).
  • Shutterfly lets you stack codes.  Because they almost always have a free shipping option if you spend over $30, I’ll wait until one is available and the shipping would be free.
  • Because you can stack codes (and I need more than 40 cards), I’ll be able to use other discount codes to get the additional cards I need at a discount. I’ll also tag on the photo books I’m creating for gifts.
  • In past years I’ve purchased 10 here, 20 there from cheap-o sites and the stress it caused me to create multiple designs and deal with multiple uploads wasn’t worth it.  So, this year I’m trading in a few bucks to save myself a few tears.
  • You can pick ANY design for $1 per card.  I’m so excited to not be limited in the designs I can pick because I pre-bought a set amount of cards and am not trying to find the least expensive one.

How to order:

The fine print:

* Limit 1 per billing address
* Entire value must be used in a single visit
* Expires December 7, 2012
* This offer cannot be transferred to another Shutterfly Account
* Shipping and handling are not included
* Valid for 40 5×7 flat stationery cards or 40 5×7 folded greeting cards at Shutterfly.com

What do you think? Do you ever pay a few extra dollars to get something you love and create less stress?
