This book is fantastic and was our jumping-off point for the majority of changes we have made to our diet and lifestyle. We don’t follow it 100%, but she does a wonderful job of discussing the merits of “real food” like grass-fed beef, produce, butter, milk and more. It’s a great read if you are just getting started on your journey or are looking for additional information. It’s not overly scientific and is an easier read than others I’ve come across.

Amazon has the entire Hunger Games Trilogy available in Kindle version for just $5! This is an amazing, amazing series. I have read it through 3 or 4 times and read the last book in the trilogy at least 2 additional times. The story is fantastic and so hard to put down. Even if you own the hardcover editions, at $5 it may be worth picking up the electronic version as well.
If you haven’t read this yet, I highly recommend it. I was late to the game and was convinced that I didn’t want to read it after seeing the first movie trailer. I was beyond wrong and am so glad I was convinced to read the books.
