Plastic Jungle: Discounted gift cards to Lowe’s, Best Buy, Macy’s + much more

by Melody on January 30, 2012

I posted recently about how I used Plastic Jungle to save money on our washing machine purchase from Lowe’s, but I thought I would give it a post of its own so you don’t miss out on a great way to save.

Plastic Jungle sells discounted gift cards to tons of different retailers like Lowe’s, Macy’s, Best Buy, Target, Home Depot and much, much more.  I have seen cards discounted up to 9% off, with both physical gift cards and e-gift cards.  You choose your gift card(s), pay with PayPal or credit card and they are shipped straight to you for free.

We knew that we were going to be purchasing our washing machine at Lowe’s in the near future, but were just waiting for a good sale.  We decided to purchase discounted gift cards through Plastic Jungle for just under what we wanted to pay.  We paid about $279 for $300 in gift cards, which is a significant savings in my book.

The gift cards we received were actually merchandise credits, so I assume someone returned an item without a receipt and couldn’t use all that credit.  Plastic Jungle offers a 100% guarantee on all their transactions, so it’s totally safe.  You can also sell your unwanted gift cards through their site as well.

Head on over to Plastic Jungle and check it out.

So, since they are real gift cards, you don’t have to use them up in one transaction, correct? I appreciate your site!!!

Definitely! Mine were merchandise credits, but I think they work just the same as gift cards? I entered them in the gift card section at checkout. Such a fantastic way to save, especially on larger purchases.
