My Kids Were Here: In the washing machine

by Melody on April 18, 2013

Each week I will be sharing a different photo, something that throws me right back into the little moments of joy that my kids create.  Something that reminds me.  My kids were here.

This week’s entry is from reader Jennie:

Above you’ll see “Luigi”, from “Cars”. He had a nice little bath tonight when he went through the wash. In my son’s pants pocket, maybe? Who knows?

LOVE this.  While my kids’ toys do drive me nuts sometimes, it’s the hilarious little reminders like this that make me smile.  Thanks Jennie!

Question of the Day: What is the strangest place you have found one of your kids toys?

If you have a photo you would like to share, go ahead and send the photo to me at beautifulfrugallife {at} gmail {dot} com with the subject title “My Kids Were Here”.  Please include a paragraph or two letting us know what the photo means to you or what moment it represents.

In the feed drive of my pellet stove. Our son had opened the lid and stuck a piece of plastic “ham” inside and closed it up. We didn’t know there was a problem until the stove wouldn’t work and we completely dismantled it to fix the problem.

when my oldest was little he decided a calculator was just the thing to flush in his papa toilet! For months the poor toilet would back up and twice the plumber was called he never figured it out, until finally they replaced the toilet and smashed open the old one apparently it was positioned just so it would flap back and forth, so papa installed locks on all the toilets in there house from then on!
