My Kids Were Here.

by Melody on March 7, 2013

Each week I will be sharing a different photo, something that throws me right back into the little moments of joy that my kids create.  Something that reminds me.  My kids were here.

You know those days when you wake up, roll out of bed and start running.  You run until you fall back into bed at night and lay there wondering what in the world just happened.  There’s breakfast and laundry and preschool and blogging and lunch and carpools and grocery shopping and cooking and dinner and the gym and playing and cleaning and folding laundry and errands and meetings and appointments and. And. And. And.

As you are dragging yourself through the house right before bed, picking up a few loose odds and ends, you find your coffee cup that you last saw about 7 that morning hanging out in the little alcove by the front door.  Nothing like having kids running around the house to make you forget your brain.

Or maybe I’d lose my brain without kids.  Entirely possible.

If you have a photo you would like to share, go ahead and send the photo to me at beautifulfrugallife {at} gmail {dot} com with the subject title “My Kids Were Here”.  Please include a paragraph or two letting us know what the photo means to you or what moment it represents.
