{Local} FREE Introductory CrossFit Class on January 4th (come hang out with me!)

by Melody on January 3, 2013

If you have been wondering what in the heck this CrossFit thing is all about or have been curious to give it a try, you’re in luck!  This Friday, January 4th at 5:30 PM, Natural Selection CrossFit in Kennewick is offering a FREE introductory class.  The class is about an hour long and includes a short introduction to CrossFit, a run down of some exercises and then a short (but intense) workout.  You are under absolutely no obligation to join and there won’t be anyone at the door trying to force you to sign up, they just really want to show everyone what it is all about.

If you can’t make the class this Friday, don’t fret.  They offer the intro class every Friday at 5:30 so you can come anytime.  I just wanted to quickly highlight this week, because I will be attending the class.  I’ve been through it already, but I have a few friends that are going to be there and I’m here to support.  Come hang out with me, learn about CrossFit and get a great workout, all in one evening!

You can either sign yourself up for the intro class at the Natural Selection website or email me at beautifulfrugallife {at} gmail {dot} com for more information.

Please let me know if you have any questions.  I would love to see you there!

How fit do you have to be? What if you can’t even do one pushup or pull up?

You don’t have to be fit at all! There are all levels at the gym and all the exercises have several modifications. I can’t do a full pull-up, but I have been working through the various modifications to get myself stronger. Everybody has their strengths and weaknesses, regardless of fitness level. Plus, there is a coach there during every class to help with technique and questions.
