{Local} Blueberry Daze Festival July 5th and 6th in Grandview

by Melody on July 3, 2013

Bill’s Berry Farm in Grandview, WA is hosting their Blueberry Daze Festival on Friday July 5th and Saturday July 6th.  The festival runs from 9 AM to 5 PM each day and admission is free.  On Saturday July 6th, there is a $5 parking fee, so carpool with friends or family to cut down the cost!

Bring the whole family out to pick blueberries or cherries, listen to live music, enjoy a BBQ lunch or freshly made blueberry donuts, stroll through tons of different antique vendors or take the kids to the petting zoo.  My kids LOVE Bill’s.  When I told them we were going this year, all they talked about were the donuts.

Their certified organic blueberries are just $2.50 per pound.  Per ounce, this would make the regular grocery store size (6 oz) just $.94 each.  Fantastic price!  Cherries are $1.75/lb to $2.75/lb, depending on variety.
