What am I thankful for?
I am thankful for my children, who humble me and force me to face and accept my weaknesses every single day.
I am thankful for my husband, who has accepted my crazy blogging hours with more grace than I probably would have if the situation were reversed. I am also thankful every day that I was so bossy when we first met and insisted he was going to date me.
I am thankful that my kids have grandparents and aunts and uncles that love them to pieces and spoil them rotten. Who else is going to feed them brownies and whipped cream for breakfast? Certainly not boring Mom and Dad.
I am so thankful for this blog and all it represents. It allows me to follow my passion, to have a creative release, to use my skills and my brain, to (hopefully) touch lives in the small ways, to be a good steward of our resources, to meet some truly amazing people in the blogosphere and in my own community.
I am thankful for my friends, who listen, encourage, uplift, smack down a little when I’m getting crazy, remind me of what’s important, allow me to live vicariously through them, force me to go to Crossfit and support me in all the ways they know how.
I am thankful for fantastic music, good coffee, Crossfit, good cheese, a wonderful book, peace and quiet when I wake up early, baseball, football, a good holiday movie, beer, Las Vegas and sunshine.
I’m pretty sure I could type for the rest of my life about all the things I’m thankful for. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday with your family. I’ll see you soon, blazing through the deals and barreling towards Christmas.
