Costco: My favorite toy deals (VTech, Lalaloopsy, Kidkraft + more)

by Melody on December 6, 2012

Costco has an absolutely AMAZING toy section during the holidays.  Their prices generally can’t be beat.  The only downfall is that they stock a limited amount and once they are gone, they usually don’t come back.  If you see something you like while you’re in the store, I wouldn’t hesitate to pick it up.

I have listed some of my favorites from our local store below.  All of the items I price-checked against Amazon and they were cheaper 100% of the time.  If you have a smart phone, do a quick price check while you are in the store to guarantee you are getting a good deal.  This is just a small idea of what you may find in your local store.

Disney or Marvel 1000-Piece Art & Activity Set – $19.99 (you could almost split this apart and make it 2 or 3 gifts!)

Disney Princess Toddler Rapunzel and Maximus – $20

Lalaloopsy Dolls – $19.49 (I’ve seen them go cheaper, but generally only on flash sales or Lightning Deals through Amazon)

Techno Gears Marble Mania Mine Shaft – $39.99 (listed at $68.74 on Amazon)

Minnie’s Shopping Cart and Cash Register – $22.99 (listed at $52.99 on Amazon)

Hello Kitty Squinkies Set – $19.79

Hot Wheels Monster Jam World Finals Stunt Pack – $24.49

Play-Doh Sweet Shoppe Cake & Ice Cream Confections (40+ accessories) – $14.97 (listed at $34.99 on Amazon)

Zoobies Book Buddies – $13.99 (these are listed over $40 on Amazon!)

Plush Pillow Pets – $10.99

VTech Brilliant Creations Advanced Notebook – $36.99 (listed at $44.19 on Amazon)

Barbie Ultimate Beach House – $49.99 (listed at $66.25 on Amazon)

Kidkraft Petite Chateau Dollhouse – $84.99 (listed at $131.30 on Amazon)

Stride Rite Girls Socks (8 pack) – $8.99 (just $1.12/pair!)

Kirkland Signature 100% Organic Cotton Pajamas – $11.99

If you are doing any additional shopping while you are there (and who isn’t?), check out this month’s full home mailer coupon match ups.  You can also read about my favorite things to pick up at Costco here.

Please let us know if you find any fun gifts or toys this year at Costco.  Happy shopping!

My Costco had Dream lites for $22.99 I think. A great price since everywhere else seems to be $29.99

I want to get the KidKraft Petit Chateau dollhouse for my greatgrand daughters. I live in NC. They live in Frederick Maryland. Your Frederick store is out of them but your Chantilly Va. store has 18 of them. I cannot seem to place an order on-line. $84.99 is a great price. What do I do?

I’m sorry, I don’t actually work for Costco. You’ll have to contact Costco directly.
