ok…newbie rite aid ??

I got the toothpaste that was on the front page of the ad today and picked up a rebate flyer in the store. There are two rebates for toothpaste in there and I am confused, if I did the one this week that is $1.50 rebate, can I do the $2.00 rebate next week…I would be purchasing the same toothpaste (3D White by Crest)….please help as I am sooo confused.

You can absolutely buy qualify for both separate rebates. The first looks like any Crest toothpaste and is good within the dates of 4/4 – 4/10.

The second is for the 3D only and is good within the dates 4/11 – 4/17.

That is usually the difference with these rebates. If you see a duplicate product, check the date. Some of the rebates are good all month, but some are only good for specific weeks. Good month for toothpaste I guess. :)

I just did your scenario at the Lee location with no trouble from the cashier at all… They were out of some of the Oral-B brushes and Pampers jumbo packs, so the only thing I'm waiting to hear about is if I can get the rebate on the Pampers Extra Protection that I got (instead of the advertised Cruisers or Swaddlers). The shelf tag for the EP style had the rebate listed, as well as the cover of the circular, even though the rebate description itself does not, so we'll see in a few days if my receipt goes through online?
Oh yeah, and because I'm a nerd and was curious how the sales tax would be calculated to see how "free" items really are, here's the link to the WA Dept. of Rev.: http://dor.wa.gov/content/QuestionsAndAnswers/article.aspx?id=10003&cNode=6n3t8s

Thanks for the deal scenario! :)

Kim – Thanks for the link, I've actually been curious about the tax thing before. When you use a store coupon, it totally affects the tax total I've noticed. Thanks!

Glad everything worked well for you. If the Pampers Extra Protection don't work, just exchange them at a different store for the right product and resubmit your receipt.
