Amazon: FuzziBunz Rebate Offer – As Low As $11.96 each shipped!

by Emilie on August 29, 2011

I am a big fan of cloth diapers and FuzziBunz is my favorite brand.  I started cloth diapering when my first baby was about one year old and my trusty FuzziBunz diapers have made it through three kids.

I use the one size until the kids outgrow them and then move them in to a set of large perfect size FuzziBunz until they are potty trained.  They are easy to use, absorbent, have replaceable elastic and are adorable.  They pretty much are the perfect pocket diaper. With one exception, they are expensive! I’ve begged, borrowed and stolen to get my collection.  Okay, maybe I haven’t stolen but I’ve spent a lot of time trying to find good deals and they are hard to come by.

So, this morning when I got an email from Amazon saying you could get two for free when you purchase six, my heart leapt for joy! This is a good deal, one I’ve never seen.  Here is how it works:

  • Purchase six qualifying FuzziBunz here. You will get free prime shipping.
  • Print the rebate here.  I suggest doing it right away in case they pull the form before the deal expires.
  • Submit the rebate form with the UPC’s and original receipt  by October 15th.  Diapers must be purchased by September 30th, 2011.

If you get one size diapers, this lowers the price to $15.24 each.  The perfect size diapers would be as low as $11.96 (for extra small) or $13.46 (sizes small – large).

Also, if you are new to cloth diapering, detergent is important.  My favorite detergent  is Country Save HE powder. It’s the only one that hasn’t created build up on my diapers.

Please let me know if you have any questions on cloth diapering! It has been one of the best ways our family saves money on diapers.

I have tons of questions on cloth diapering! Our youngest is 7 months and I put her in size 4 diapers because they fit her and her 2 year old brother (I don’t know why since they are both average weight kids). What do you recommend? The perfect fit or going by size? And do they sell that type of laundry detergent in smaller packages, I’m not so interested in spending $80 on laundry detergent right now. Thanks!

Catherine, there’s a sizing chart here.

I have the older style Fuzzi Bunz (like the “perfect size” ones) and I have zero experience with their one-size diapers. Your 7 month-old would probably be in a size Medium. For average-sized kids, they are in that size the longest. It’s kinda equivalent to a size 3 disposable. I never used the large on my skinny kids, but I LOVE the “petite” size which I guess is a special-order deal now, but they are basically the same size around as a medium, but have a longer rise.

My kids are pretty average size and aren’t really able to make it in medium’s until they are potty trained. They both were about 50% weight percentile and 90% height. I trained them both at about 26 months. I probably could have squeezed them in them but not much past that point. The one size were a bit bigger than the mediums at the max size. If I didn’t already own a size of large’s I probably could have made it with the one size. I had bought the large’s when I first started cloth and the one size didn’t exist yet.

If I was starting out, I would definitely start with the one size. If it were me. :o)

I’m not sure where you live but I can buy Country Save at QFC and PCC.
