My personal Fred Meyer Founder’s Day Sale shopping trip

by Melody on May 14, 2013

IMG_2303The Fred Meyer’s Founders Day Sale is one of my absolute favorite weeks to shop for groceries and other items around the home.  Throughout the store, most items get marked down lower than we will see them for the rest of the year and the grocery deals are fantastic as well.

Here is what I picked up this week:

Strawberries (2 lb) on sale $2.58
Fuji Apples on sale $.77/lb

Tillamook Cheese (2 lb) on sale $4.29
*The Medium Cheddar Cheese was limit 1 with in-ad coupon, but several other varieties were marked down to just $4.99 with no limit!

Tillamook Butter (1 lb) on sale $1.88
Fred Meyer Lunch Meat
(1 lb) on sale $2.50

Dreyer’s Outshine Coconut Water Bars on sale $2.49
Used $1/1 coupon from 4/21 SS insert
$1.49 after coupon
*These have very few ingredients and I could actually pronounce them all!  Plus, they’re delish.

Digiorno Pizzeria! Pizza on sale $4.50
Used $2/1 coupon or $2/1 Fred Meyer eCoupon
$2.50 after coupon
*Because sometimes on Mother’s Day, you just darn don’t want to cook and this was crazy cheap

We also took advantage of their fantastic buy one, get one free sale on bike helmets.  We were sorely in need of some new ones and these ended up being about $11 each!

I will probably head back sometime this week if I can for more cheese, butter and strawberries.  These prices can’t be beat!

What was or is your favorite deal this week at Fred Meyer?

Skippy Peanut Butter!
I’m so happy to find such a good deal on it since we are running low and are brand loyal when it comes to PB! Will definitely be going back for some more this week. I’m always so impressed with the stock they have available for their sales. I found 2 huge displays of it besides the regular spot on the shelf. Makes me wonder why the other grocery stores can’t seem to have enough products for their sales?!
