Giveaway: The Boogie Monster Book/CD Kit by Josie Bissett (fantastic family fun!)

by Melody on April 20, 2013

Out of all the “daily deal” type sites that I have seen come and go, Zulily is consistently on the top of my list. They offer high quality brands at fantastic prices and the sheer variety is amazing. I have bought toys and books for my kids, running shoes, workout gear, boots, clothes, cookbooks, kitchen accessories and so much more.

They are currently offering both the Boogie Monster and Tickle Monster Book Kits by Josie Bissett for just $19.99, regular retail price of $40.  Our family has both of these book kits and LOVE them.

The books alone are fun, colorful and totally hilarious.  You don’t even realize while you’re reading that it is telling you what to do.  I could never figure out why our 3-year old kept sitting up in bed while reading Boogie Monster and nodding his head when we were reading, until I realized that the book was telling him to bow.  He has worn the leg warmers to bed on more than one occasion.

Everything about the books and CDs are meant to inspire activity.  They are so interactive and you can’t help but get up and do ridiculous dance moves with your kids.  We love to read to our kids every day, but it is infinitely more fun to read and dance or tickle at the same time.

Boogie Monster-Legs

What do you win?

Zulily has very generously offered a copy of the Boogie Monster Kit to one lucky TBFL reader.  The kit comes with the book itself, boogie legs and a CD with music by Recess Monkey.

Check out all the fun you could be having if you had this book.  Please don’t be jealous of our dance moves, we are all classically trained.

My favorite children’s book is the, “Jesus Storybook Bible.” I just never tire of reading it and I can’t say that about most kids books or even kids Bibles.

Our favorite children’s book is Jump, Frog, Jump! by Robert Kalan because the author was my dad =) Also, it is an awesome book, and while my kids won’t be able to grow up knowing their grandpa, I’m so thankful for the legacy he left through his books! (He also wrote Rain, Blue Sea, Stop Thief, and Moving Day)

My favorite children’s story would have to be the very hungry caterpillar. My daughter used to draw pictures for me from the book, so I will always cherish those memories. I am hoping my son (almost 1) will enjoy reading as much as she did.
