We have been hard at work brainstorming ideas for this brand new year. The few days between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, I started getting all panicky and anxious about the blog. I felt like I needed a direction for the year or mythoughtsandideaswouldallgetjumbled and nothing would ever get done. While this is obviously not the case, both Emilie and I felt like we wanted a little more organization and coherence this year.
We sat down and hashed out some great ideas, based around a monthly “theme”. We will feature recipes, post series, deal ideas, giveaways and guest posts that all circle back to our theme of choice.
For the month of January, we thought there was no better way to kick off than with a “Fitness and Healthy Habits” theme. Jessie will be featuring recipes on the lighter side, I will be recapping some of my fitness journey for you as well as what’s new and coming on the horizon for me. We will feature some of our favorite workout gear and have two great fitness-related giveaways lined up for you.
If starting or restarting your exercise routine is in the cards for you this month (or you just need a swift kick in the you know what), hopefully we will share some ideas and products that will inspire you.
For the month of February, we are going to be focusing on simplifying and organizing your home and life. We will be talking about menu planning, freezer cooking, revamping your budget and more. Nothing like a fresh (and clean) start to the New Year.
Some other ideas we have for the year are a Wedding on a Budget series, Homemade/Going Green, Frugal Family Fun, Parenting and Building Relationships and more.
