{Local} Grow Local: Connecting Local Producers & The Rest of Us Farm to Table Symposium (September 14th)

by Melody on August 28, 2012

On September 14th, the Northwest Regional Food Hub is co-hosting the Farm to Table Symposium called Grow Local: Connecting Local Producers & The Rest of Us.

From the Hub’s website:

Join local consumers, producers, distributors, health care professionals, school staff, chefs, retailers, sustainable food advocates, and others interested in growing, distributing, and buying local food. Hear success stories, discuss challenges, explore institutional buying, find a farmer or buyer, and learn about barriers and opportunities to making farm-to-table purchases and sales. Local farmers, buyers, and consumers are encouraged to attend.

Keynote speakers will be Sheri and Daniel Salatin from Polyface Farms.  You can attend the symposium and afterwards, meet at the Hub for a “Farm to Table Dinner”.
