My mom and I headed up to The Farm Chicks Antique Show in Spokane this past weekend. If you recall, I ran a giveaway last year for The Farm Chicks in the Kitchen (their fabulous cookbook) and have been intrigued about the show ever since. It is a HUGE antique show with tons and tons of vendors.
If you love antiques, you’ll love the show. If you don’t like antiques, you’ll probably still love the show. If you love fabulous metal picnic tables and seriously amazing bright blue entry way tables, you’ll love the show. Wait, maybe that’s just me. The booths ran the gamut from true vintage items to clothes to furniture to jewelry.
It cost a whopping $7 to get in and parking was free. This is seriously the best kind of frugal entertainment.
I even got to meet Serena (the original Farm Chick) and had her sign my well-loved cookbook. When I told her she featured me in her business card contest last year, I even got a hug!
As we had no way to haul a metal picnic table or a fabulous bright blue entry way table, I walked out with just this pitcher. I will have so much fun pouring my homemade coffee creamer out of this every morning.
Definitely pencil this in to your calendars for next year, what fun!
