I am so excited to be partnering with Finnegan Frost in Richland for a food drive supporting our local 2nd Harvest branch.
2nd Harvest distributes nearly 460,000 pounds of food each month that goes to food banks and meal centers across Southeast and South Central Washington. They are an amazing community resource to help feed the hungry across the Columbia Basin.
Finnegan Frost serves only USDA-certified organic yogurt, with no added yucky anything. They are gluten-free, hormone-free and certified Kosher. They even have a dairy-free option! They also aim to source as many local products as possible and use 100% compostable bowls. If you haven’t been yet, you are SERIOUSLY missing out.
Food Drive Details:
Date: Sunday June 24th
Time: 4 PM – 9 PM
Location: Finnegan Frost at 696 Gage Boulevard in Richland
Bring any canned goods or non-perishable items to Finnegan Frost between 4 PM and 9 PM and receive a ticket good for 10% off your farmstyle yogurt. One item equals 10% off one yogurt, so if you have a family of four, bring 4 items. Your tickets will only be valid on Sunday June 24th.
All purchased, non-expired food items will be accepted, with a focus on protein-rich foods like peanut butter and canned meat.
I will be there from 4 PM to 9 PM collecting donations and handing out tickets, so please come down and visit. I will most likely be enjoying a bowl (or 12) of yogurt myself. I may have to clean out my pantry.
You can follow Finnegan Frost on Facebook or This Beautiful Frugal Life on Facebook for reminders. Mark your calendars!
