We get this Best Buy bacon all the time. It’s always pretty cheap at Yoke’s (even regular price is less than $3/#). I try to look for packages that are sliced evenly, some of the packages are irregularly sliced (some thick, some thin; thick at one end, thin on the other). It’s easy to look thru the plastic and see if it looks like a good package or not. I’m sure this is not the best bacon (i.e. not natural / sustainable, etc.) but the quality is comparable to all of the other name brands (IMO) and the price is much less than those mainstream competitors. I’ll probably pick up 6+ packages today on sale and freeze them. We usually have bacon at least one weekend morning.
