Amazon: “The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Food from My Frontier” Pre-Order for $17.53

by Emilie on February 29, 2012

Update: The price of this has changed.

I really love The Pioneer Woman.  If you want to know how much, you can read this dorky blog post about how much I love her.  I have told my husband many times that if I lived in Oklahoma, or she lived in Seattle, we would for sure be besties.  I know she feels the same way.

Her original cookbook, The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl (Amazon) is one of my FAVORITES! Some recipes from that one you don’t want to miss are Sour Cream Pancakes, Asian Noodle Salad and Texas Sheetcake.  Those are just a few of the ones we LOVE to make at our house.

Back to the reason for my post, she is releasing a new cookbook on March 13th and I’m pretty much dying to have it.  The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Food from My Frontier is available from Amazon right now on pre-order for just $17.53.  If you order early, they guarantee it will be in your mailbox on March 13th.  I’m sure the photos will be amazing and the recipes will be incredible!

Amazon guarantees the lowest price for anything bought on pre-order. You can see the details here.

Shipping is free with Amazon Prime or with a qualifying $25 purchase.

I used to really like the PW too. I followed her everyday and made ALL her recipes. But the gild on the lily began to fade, for me at least, when the Internet started buzzing that most of her recipes came from church and community cookbooks. Sure enough, when I checked The Marlboro Woman website, there was the cold hard evidence. And with Ree Drummond currently embroiled in a plagiarism scandal stemming from a Valentine’s Day post ripping off an Etsy artist, I can’t support this endeavor any longer. Sorry.
