A few updates to the Pantry/Household Stock-Up Price List

by Melody on February 8, 2012

Over the past few weeks, I have made a few updates and changes to the Pantry/Household Stock-Up Price List that I wanted to share with you.

First of all, I have added several new Costco comparison prices that I was able to gather on my last trip to the store.  Hopefully this helps all you Costco shoppers (or even non-Costco shoppers) to compare on what is a good price on an item for your family.

The biggest update I made was adding links to Amazon on several of the more popular items they sell.  I only added links to items I would actually purchase on Amazon or have seen a good deal on in the past.  If you are looking for prices on a specific item, hopefully this will help for you to see if there is a better deal online.  The reason I didn’t list specific prices is that Amazon’s prices jump and drop all the time.  This should give you a quick reference to see what the current price is on an item you are searching for.

While this isn’t necessarily an update, I wanted to share with you a quick searching tool in Google Docs if you didn’t already know it.  With the document open, hit CTRL-F and a search box will pop up.

Type in what ever it is you are looking for and hit Find, the item should pop right up.  If there are multiple matches, you can click Find again and it will scroll through the different matched items.  This makes it super easy to navigate the list, I use it all the time and I created the list!

I will continue to add to the list as I get more prices or find items I missed.  If you see something not on the list that you are curious about, please ask!  Click here to check it out.
