If getting fit or losing weight is on your to-do list for 2012, the 30-Day Shred is a great place to start! I started with this workout January of 2011 when I started my weight loss goals and had great success with it. I did 2 full rounds before moving on to a more intense workout, but this was a great way to get moving and get started.
A few quick reasons why I recommend this workout:
It’s super quick. At most, it’s 25 minutes with stretching and cool down. You can squeeze it in to an episode of Phineas and Ferb and everyone in the house is happy.
It’s super effective. She makes really good use of those 25 minutes and it’s over before you know it.
In six months, I dropped from 152 pounds to 135 pounds. I have not been 135 pounds since probably my freshman year of high school.
One disclaimer: There are some high-impact moves in this workout. She has two gals in the video with her and one does lower impact moves. Follow along with her if you have trouble.
