Question for TBFL readers: What are you looking for this Christmas?

by Melody on November 22, 2011

The month of December is going to be an amazing mish-mash of sales, deals, rebates, flash sales and much more.  If you’re anything like me, you may at times feel like your brain is going to explode.  If you have your gift list ready and have some specific items in mind, please leave a comment and let me know what you are looking for.

I would love to help you look for deals, but there is just no way I can get to them all.  If I have some specific ideas in mind, I can keep an eye out for all of you.

Don’t miss my post on managing your holiday budget and creating a gift list.

If you live near a Rite Aid, the non-licensed pillow pets are on a decent sale: http://www.frugallivingnw.com/store-retail-deals/rite-aid/rite-aid-deals-for-november-20-26/

I wish I knew!

Kid’s indoor trampoline with a handlebar?

Some fun family games for preschool & up – but need suggestions first!

We have this trampoline outside and LOVE it! But, we have friends that have it inside their house. Do you have a big room? http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11205991

Oops – I didn’t link this to the right comment last time!

Unfortunately, we don’t have a big room. The “big” toys get rotated in & out of the garage. This one looks like it would be a pain to move in & out of doorways frequently …

Melody – am looking for a good deal on a Power Wheels for the boys – must be a 12 volt, 2 seater, Jeep or off-road style (a little ground clearance really). Haven’t been able to find anything!

Also want my husband to buy me (I buy it & wrap it & act surprised) some diamond earings – not super fancy – but *real* jewelry.

Would you like me to “hint” to Josh? :)

lol hint, smack, whatever.

I found a good deal on the Power Wheel! Through the NW Bloggers – the gal that is covering Sears. The Blue Power Wheels is selling for $199 at Sears – free shipping to the store – plus an extra 10% with code S10PToys (code good on toys & expires soon). Not sure how long that price is good – but is about $30 cheaper than anywhere – the code takes off another $20. Oh yeah – plus clicked through Shop At Home – so hopefully that gives me 4% cash back. Phew – thats a lot of savings! Maybe some of your readers can snag that deal too!

Thrifty & Thriving posted about a Nintendo DS deal the other day, $149 I believe. I’m not 100% sure what a good deal on these are, but I think it’s decent. http://www.thriftyandthriving.com/2011/11/target-4-day-sale-electronics-deals/

The Leapfrog website is having a ton of good sales on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, definitely worth checking out for Leapster stuff!
