Giveaway: $50 gift card to Ross Dress for Less

I am SO thrilled to be partnering with Ross Dress for Less again for back to school time! I was recently contacted by Ross and they very generously offered me a $50 gift card to check out their back to school selection.

I was really pleased with the selection and variety of back to school items at my local store. They had clothes for all ages, backpacks, lunch boxes, TONS of shoes, jackets, educational toys and even items for school uniforms (French Toast brand). Everything is really reasonably priced, Ross is the perfect place to shop for families on a budget.

Since my kids aren’t quite back to school age, I decided to take a little different spin. My 3-year old and I have unofficially deemed ourselves “Back to School Models of the Century”, just in case you were in need of some wardrobe ideas for yourself or your toddler set. Please note: Only the fabulous Dr. Seuss glow-in-the-dark Converse came from Ross. Mom found far too many things for herself.

Being in back to school shopping mode, I also grabbed a fabulous 10-foot Melissa & Doug alphabet puzzle for just $6.99! We’ve been working on letters and sounds lately and my son LOVES puzzles.

Dear Ross: Thank you for contacting me and allowing me to purchase clothes that actually fit. Losing weight is fabulous, but tough to buy a whole new wardrobe for a girl on a budget.

Ross Dress for Less has VERY generously offered a $50 gift card to one of This Beautiful Frugal Life’s readers for back to school shopping.

Please note: Back to school shopping is a pretty loose term. This can be used for a child going off to college, high school, preschool or anywhere in between. Are you going back to school? Perfect. Are you a teacher? Enter away. Do you like to stand on the sidewalk and wave as the school bus goes by every day? Of course you need a new outfit for that. Do you drive by a school on your way to work? Close enough.

I homeschool my two boys ages 8 and 12. If I won the gift card I would buy stuff for them. Crafts and art supplies. There is uaually alot of things like that in the book section. Stamps,punches paints scarpbook papers etc. And we love to be crafty in our house. Would also look for new tennis shoes, my 12 year old can wear his shoes out so fast.
