Back to school lunch round-up: Snack ideas

Emilie has been scouring Amazon for us and found some great ideas for school lunches.  She has three kids under five years old and now has to pack lunch three times a week.  Amazon is her go-to place for inexpensive, natural/organic items that she doesn’t have to leave the house to buy.

All of these require choosing the Subscribe & Save option on the right hand side.

Bare Fruit 100% Organic Cinnamon Apple Chips (.64 oz bags, pack of 96) – Use promo code YTVYSTSY to drop your price down to $51.93 or $.54 each (this would be a great one to split with a friend!)

Barbara’s Bakery Snackimals Double Chocolate animal cookies (2.125 oz bags, pack of 18) – Use promo code SNCKIMAL to drop your price down to $11.06 or $.61 each

GoGo Squeez Applesauce on the Go (3.2 oz packets, pack of 48) – Use promo code GOGO4343 to drop your price down to as low as $22.81 or $.48 each

Oskri Organic, Gluten-Free Coconut Bars w/ Strawberry (1.86 oz bars, pack of 18) – Use promo code OSKRIBTS to drop your price down to $11.24 or $.62 each

Annie’s Organic Tropical Treat Fruit Snacks (4 oz boxes, pack of 4) – Use promo code Y7RBIXY3 to drop your price down to $10.59 or $2.65 per box ($.53 per snack)

Subscribe & Save does mean that you are now signed up to receive recurring shipments at whatever interval you chose. If you do not want to receive additional shipments, just go into “My Account” and click on “Manage Subscribe & Save Items”.  All you have to do is cancel your subscription, you are under no obligation to purchase additional items.

Stay tuned over the next few days for a round-up of beverage ideas and fun lunch boxes and totes.

I would love to hear your best tried and true school lunch ideas.  Emilie and I are both total rookies (although I do have another year) and we would love any help on how to simplify and make things a little easier.

I would pay about $10 a package for those Annie’s fruit snacks. They are that good.
