Can I please just tell you before I give you the deals how much I seriously love Fred Meyer?  I may not come away with a receipt showing 98% coupon savings, but I save a significant amount every week just by shopping their great sale prices on produce, dairy, eggs and other items we use all the time.  I can always find what I want in stock, so no stressful racing to the store or frustration at finding an empty shelf.

Thank you for listening.  On to the deals.

I found a HUGE selection of Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers on an end cap at my local Fred Meyer.  On sale for $1 each, several with .75/1 peelie coupons.  Making them just .25 per bag.  I seriously stocked up and barely made a dent in the stock they had.  My kids LOVE Goldfish crackers and I love that I can use the Vanilla Cupcake flavor as a small bribe for the long road trip we have planned for this weekend.

Here’s another great deal from Frugal Chic Living:

Kandoo flushable wipes on sale $1.49
Use $1/1 coupon from 4/3 PG insert
49 cents each after coupon

I also love FM for having great “regular” prices. They are sooooo much cheaper than the other stores in my area. I also love that they rarely, if ever, play those games where you have to buy a certain amount to get the sale price or that you have to use your rewards card, etc. They are my “go to” store!

I like FM for those same reasons! And because of their great selection of organic produce and frequent sale prices on organic dairy products. It’s in my shopping rotation about twice/month now. Plus my 4 y/o likes going to the play area, and both kids love riding the $0.25 horse afterward!

I totally forgot to look for the .75 cent off pealies! Darn, maybe I will check back tomorrow. I did score some crunch bars, and 2 cars for the price of one! The Cars2 cars are BOGO!

I have learned to LOVE Fred Meyer too! They have some great deals – especially now that we are gluten free and don’t eat white sugar. Can be very expensive, but they have great sales on a regular basis on health foods. I couldn’t agree with you more!

I also love Freddies! My go-to store :) as in I go at least twice a week. Right next to my school so I pop in often. Have heard of the elusive peelies on Goldfish but yet to spot any. Are they on particular flavors?

Also, if you do track your savings %, I’ve started spread sheeting it over the last month and the Total Coupon Savings amount that is listed at the bottom of the receipt is rarely correct. Various coupons (Free items and Wags/Albys Catalinas for instance) are not reflected in that total so if you are tracking it, be sure to add up the discounts yourself. The BYOB (bag) discount isn’t reflected either.

The flavors I found the peelies on were Vanilla Cupcake and Chocolate Grahams.

I agree with you about tracking your savings. I never even look at the “coupon savings” on the receipt. I manually add up everything on the receipt, total spent before coupons, coupon savings and store discount (bring your own bag). I’m never 100% sure how they track the coupon savings.

Were you at the richland store when you found the endcap with .75 peelies?

I was. There was another gal and I grabbing some bags, but there were still tons left. A friend of mine went yesterday afternoon and said they were all gone. :(

I didn’t look down the aisle where the Goldfish are usually stocked though, there may have been more there.

Hey, who am I to say what is an appropriate amount for you and your family? It was a fantastic deal and I can totally appreciate how hard it would be to pass up grabbing them all. I first grabbed four, then two more, than ran back while my cart was in line and grabbed two more. I’m sure I looked a little crazy. :)
