Why do I shop at Rite Aid?

by Melody on January 4, 2010

I LOVE Rite Aid! They have been for me, by far, the easiest store to shop at as far as their fantastic rebate program, clear coupon policy and friendly cashiers. I did have to shop around a little to find my favorite store in our area, that had the most coupon-friendly cashiers and was always well-stocked, but Rite Aid has grown in leaps and bounds from even just a year ago when I started crazy coupon shopping.
I am going to attach my last few trips to Rite Aid to show you just how you can maximize your dollars using manufacturer coupons, store coupons and rebates (both store and other). These are just from the last few weeks, this isn’t a once-every-six-month deal. Every week they have items that are free or moneymakers and they are things you might actually use. :)
(These deals are from previous weeks, so I will not post too many specifics as you will not be able to do them yourself. Just to give you an idea of what you can look forward to!)Purchased:

(2) Got2B mousse
(5) Keebler gingerbread men
Wet n’ Wild foundation
Maybelline mascara
(2) 4-pack GE Reveal lightbulbs
(2) Carefree panty liners

Total spent out of pocket after coupons: $10.21
Will send in for $10 Keebler rebate for buying 5 specially marked boxes
Will submit online for $9 Single Check Rebate from Rite Aid
PROFIT OF $8.79

Purchased:
Huggies jumbo pack diapers
(2) Prell shampoo
Nivea body wash
(4) Nivea chapstick
Chapstick Fresh Expressions
Total spent out of pocket after coupons: $10.30

When I post deals for the week, I will be more specific. I will post free-after-rebate items and other great coupon match-ups, including scenarios on how to maximize your shopping trip. I just wanted to get you started thinking about the possibilities of a great Rite Aid trip!
